NOTICE Relating to RFO DIR-TSO-TMP-261 The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) intends to enter into agreements with the following vendors for CALIR services to be effective no later than June 1, 2017:

DIR would like to make customers who currently have service agreements under the Comptroller of Public Accounts, Council on Competitive Government’s (CCG) CALIR Services contracts for LexisNexis and West Publishing Corporation aware that within these contracts, provision language for Transition Requirements can be found in Section 6.3, which reads:
 
6.3 Transition Requirements
In the event any contract resulting from this RFO expires or is terminated for any reason before the end of the contract period, the vendor must be willing to provide services under the contract to the State for a period up to one hundred twenty (120) days (time period is at sole discretion of the State) or until such time as services of a new contract are in effect and implemented.
 
As provided for in the Transition Requirements set forth above, customers’ current services and payments with these vendors may continue during the month of May 2017.
 
DIR has posted Frequently Asked Questions related to the new agreements on our website, including products available, pricing information, and instructions on how to transition your current subscriptions to the new contracts. DIR will notify known customers who utilize the CCG contracts once the new contracts are put into place.
