Roll Out of the NEW Statewide Project Reporting System (SPRS)

Monday, July 30, 2018 | 1:15 - 4:30 | Austin, Texas

Program Overview

Recently implemented legislation will change the way we deliver information regarding Major Information Resources Projects (MIRP)’s.

The 85th Legislature passed SB 533, requiring the Quality Assurance Team (QAT) to use an automated portfolio system and HB 3275, requiring QAT report major information resources projects to a public dashboard.

The NEW Statewide Project Reporting System (SPRS) will become the official system of record for all Quality Assurance Team (QAT) projects:
  • Project Initiation
  • Deliverables
  • Monitoring Reports
  • Dashboard
Join DIR staff for a half-day workshop covering:
  • Introduction to SPRS
  • In depth training on the following workflows:
    • Project Initiation
    • Project Change Request
    • Project Details
    • Deliverables
    • Monitoring Reports
    • Dashboards and Reporting
  • Q & A
