Requested domain names that do not meet the naming convention defined by the
Internet and Email Domain Name Management Policy - PDF (290 KB) are considered
exceptions and are subject to DIR’s
Domain Name Exception Process. The Exception Process is designed to give agencies 15 days to justify their domain name requests.
Information about file formats
DIR has determined that the following domain names are
exceptions. Your IRM or authorized designee must
email your agency's responses/justification to DIR by the end date of the comment period.
