Strategic Digital Services

The Strategic Digital Services program is focused on developing tools that will assist customer agencies in how they approach thinking about digital transformation and ultimately delivering services to constituents.  At its core, digital transformation is a strategic reimagining of how constituents want to consume government services. One way to think of this is to automate manual processes at a granular level. An example would be automating the opening of incoming mail to an agency when a constituent chooses to send a check for services via mail.

While adoption of technology is necessary, the real purpose for the Strategic Digital Services program is to educate and create a culture of thinking about delivering services focused on business outcomes.

Strategic Digital Services Program Objectives:

• Develop a digital transformation toolkit for agencies to use as their guiding principles for digital transformation.
• Engage with agencies to facilitate workshops that are designed to assess and optimize digital transformation capabilities.
• Identify digital champions within agencies.
• Establish a digital community and governance.
