This free event is open to any Texas government/public sector staff interested in information technology and telecommunications issues.  (Pre-registration is required.)

Location & Parking

Commons Learning Center within J.J. Pickle Research Campus
10100 Burnet Road, Austin, TX 78758
Southwest corner of Burnet Road and Braker Lane

DIR will email confirmed registrants a parking pass before the event. If displayed on the dash when entering the complex, you do not need to stop at the guard gate. Commons parking is available in the lots on the north and west sides of the building. Overflow parking is in the two lots on the east side of the building. Vehicles not displaying permits may be ticketed.

This event is free; however, pre-registration is required. PLEASE return to the form and notify DIR if your plans change.

Note: Depending on the registration response, it may be necessary to limit the number of attendees from each organization so that the maximum number of entities can participate


Complimentary morning and afternoon refreshments and a luncheon will be served.

Continuing Education

The event will provide 6.0 contact hours of general continuing education credit (6.0 CPEs for Texas IRMs).

DIR invites interested vendors to participate in the 2016 Technology Forum by exhibiting and/or providing a speaker. This free one-day conference is open to Texas government personnel and is targeted to IT leaders.  TASSCC serves as a sponsor. Presenter/Exhibitor Invitation Flyer

Exhibit space is at capacity - not accepting any more reservations.

Participating as an exhibitor offers a unique marketing opportunity and a chance to learn more about state government needs while interacting with key decision-makers. We expect 200+ attendees from a wide variety of Texas state agencies and universities. See conference flyer and exhibitor registration website for more details.

Exhibitors should be vendors with DIR contracts and offering solutions relevant to the topics proposed for this conference.
