Commodity codes are standard classification codes for products and services. These codes come from the State of Texas NIGP Commodity book. Using these codes tells Procurement Services what kinds of items are purchased most, so we can build better contracts to serve your needs.

How to Order
Carrier Class Services:
- For product and pricing information, Customer can access the AT&T Website at: https://texan.att.com/ or contact an AT&T representative at (512) 206 0583 or via email at: [email protected]For Long
Distance Voice Services, Data Services (including, but not limited to, Internet and Metro Ethernet), Fixed Satellite Services, and Next Gen 911 Services:
- When Customer is ready to place an order, Customer will contact DIR Telecommunications at (877) 472-4848, option 4 or send an email to the DIR Orders Mailbox @ [email protected]
- DIR will then place the order with the Vendor. DIR will invoice the Customer and will pay the Vendor.
For Local Voice (including Voice Over IP (VOIP)) and Small Office/Home Office Services:To get a quote on products and pricing, please send your request to your designated sales representative. If you do not know who your sales representative is, e-mail your request to
[email protected]
- When Customer is ready to place an order, Customer will generate a purchase order, made payable to AT&T Corp. You must reference the DIR Contract Number DIR-TELE-CTSA-002 on your purchase order.

Wireless Services:

Telecom Managed Services

- Using Appendix A DIR Sample SOW, B-4, Customer drafts scope and requirements based on end-user needs
- Submit to AT&T sales representative
- Negotiate with AT&T to finalize SOW
- Agreement (SOW) is signed between Vendor and Customer
- Generate a purchase order (PO) made payable to AT&T Corp. and you must reference the DIR Contract Number DIR-TELE-CTSA-002 on your Purchase Order.
- E-mail your PO and executed SOW to your designated vendor sales representative, prior to any work beginning
