2021 showed that cyber attacks are moving closer to operational or mission-critical environments where cyber-physical systems (CPS) live. Whether they are born of OT/IT convergence or from IoT, IIoT, or Smart "X" efforts, CPS are everywhere and mandate different approaches to security than traditional IT systems. Pierre Gourdon, Gartner Executive Partner in Security & Risk Management, will examine the key issues that are driving increased interest in CPS and identify what are the top “must-do’s” that organizations need to focus on.
Pierre brings more than 35 years of experience in technology and business strategy and has led consulting engagements for global financial institutions. Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Gourdon held management positions in IT strategy consulting, risk management and compliance solutions, security service product development, security service alliance management and IT security operations.
