This podcast-style presentation will explore some of the most notable lessons learned from recent cyber-attacks on large organizations. We’ll discuss what users and companies need to understand about cyber risk readiness from two distinct and complementary perspectives: 1) response, recovery, and resilience, and 2) preparedness. Our dialogue will provide viewers with a deeper understanding of the potential scope and scale of cyber-attacks and the costs of recovery – together with leading workforce practices that can help enable users and companies prevent cyber-attacks from occurring in the first place.
Speaker Info: Rachel Moreau is a Manager on the Cyber Incident Response team helping clients respond and recover from IR incidents. She has 11+ years of experience in cyber security, digital forensics, and incident response. Rachel spent 6 years as a security engineer at a healthcare company where she helped build the information security team. Some of her accomplishments include building the vulnerability management program, leading and building the UEBA project, the CSIRT leader, and SME for internal investigations.Rachel currently holds the CISSP, GCIA, GDSA, GSTRT, SSAP, GCIH, GSEC, and GCFE.
Meghna Sahay is a manager in Deloitte’s Cyber Risk Practice. She is part of the Threat Hunt, Incident Response and Readiness team. Meghna has a wide breadth of experience within the cybersecurity domain ranging from proactive threat hunting using endpoint detection and response suites and penetration testing to reactive digital forensics work on different operating systems. Meghna has supported clients with their response effort through the Incident Response lifecycle including, but not limited to daily threat hunting, threat vulnerability management reporting, incident readiness assessments, tabletops and forensic analysis. She holds a Master’s in Computer Engineering from New York University and is currently pursuing her second Master’s in Data Science. She is also a part of the SANS Advisory Board and holds the GCFE, GCIH, and GREM certifications.
