Microsoft Teams Community Meeting

"The Texas Teams Community" is a DIR-supported user group hosted by Microsoft. The community  consists of public sector employees committed to delivering a modern working experience through the use of "Software you already own" in your Office 365 and other Microsoft subscriptions. We will focus on using Microsoft Teams as the base platform for collaboration and enhanced productivity. We are inclusive of Business leaders and IT leaders to partner on driving productivity in a secure, sustainable, and engaging way. 

Welcome to the Texas Teams Community. We are looking forward to working together to transform the work experience for each of you!

Due to the large number of community members, we will be using Microsoft Live Events to deliver this session. Attendees (non-presenters): please use the Q&A window to ask questions. We will have team members monitoring and moderating.

Microsoft Stream - Video hosting for your Agency

Our Texas Teams Community welcomes Nate Vencil and Brian Charles from Red River. Nate and Brian will discuss how we can utilize Microsoft Stream to its fullest capacity and highlight some little known and incredibly useful features that are often overlooked. During this discussion they will demonstrate how to capture and edit videos directly from Stream, integration to other Office tools, and how to embed and integrate videos across the Office 365 platform including SharePoint and Teams.

Microsoft Planner - Project management built into Office 365

Frank De Merie from the Microsoft Store Training Team will deliver a deep dive on Microsoft Planner. Planner is a to-do app that comes with Office 365.
