Welcome:  This is the DIR-supported Microsoft Teams Community meeting hosted by Microsoft. Due to the current public gathering restrictions we will be holding this meeting as a virtual meeting only using Microsoft Live Events.

"The Texas Teams Community" is a community of public sector employees who are committed to delivering a modern working experience through the use of "Software you already own" in your Office 365 and other Microsoft subscriptions. We will focus on using Microsoft Teams as the base platform for collaboration and enhanced productivity. We are inclusive of Business leaders and IT leaders to partner on driving productivity in a secure, sustainable, and engaging way.

Microsoft Teams - Sponsored Training for Texas:
Many agencies have enabled Microsoft Teams for their user communities and we are getting great feedback on adoption and usage. Microsoft and the DIR are partnering to bring all agencies access to free Teams training for the first two weeks in June. This will include multiple sessions of each to include:

• Getting Started with Microsoft Teams
• Teams for Intermediate Users
• Creating and Managing Teams
• Teams for IT Administrators

Teams as a "Platform" to Streamline Business Processes:

Our Texas Teams Community will welcome Jace Moreno, host of "Microsoft Teams Superheroes" video series. Jace will discuss how customers are using Microsoft Teams and integrated Office 365 features to streamline common business processes, reduce repetitive work, and give your employees back valuable time to serve their fellow employees and our constituents.
