Microsoft Teams - Sponsored Training for Texas
Many agencies have enabled Microsoft Teams for their user communities to enable Remote Work. We are getting great feedback on adoption and usage and want to help bring your skills with Microsoft Teams to the next level. Microsoft and the DIR are partnering to bring all agencies access to free Teams training for the first two weeks in June. The fully-funded training is provided by Vitalyst, an award-winning Microsoft Training partner.
These training sessions are packed with content and are focused on the Government Office 365 version of Microsoft Teams.
We have three classes targeted to end-users and one exclusively for your IT Administrators in charge of managing Microsoft Teams.
Access links below to view the dates and times.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
-
Once
registered, you will receive an auto-confirmation email (usually within minutes). SAVE THAT
INFORMATION. The email includes the link to join as well as a link to
edit or cancel your reservation. -
From: EventBuilder [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Thank you
for registering for: [classname] -
If you do not receive the email, either you mistyped your email address when registering or (more likely) spam filters are preventing delivery. Check your "Other" or "junk" folders. If still can't find, consult with your IT staff. They may need to whitelist the sender.
-
If you do not receive/cannot find your confirmation email with connection information, there's a work-around:
-
Return to the enrollment page using same browser tool. The session for which you are registered should display as "Registration Complete". (If not, register again.)
-
Once that session shows as "Registration Complete" on the classs index, click on the event title to the LEFT. Next screen should allow you to connect at session time (opens as much as 30 minutes prior). Plus, there's a SAVE TO CALENDAR option over to the right which will generate an appointment with the join link.
-
If you register a second time and receive multiple confirmation emails for same class, ignore the extras. Vitalyst is working on that.
-
DIR thanks Microsoft for this generous resource!
