Online collaboration and remote work - growing trends across all business types - is the new reality for many. We find ourselves in endless virtual gatherings, both formal and informal. What once was a casual hallway conversation may now be a scheduled, recorded meeting. The presentation previously considered routine in
front of a familiar in-person audience may now be delivered into the internet
abyss, without the body language and non-verbal cues upon which we rely.

Yet presentation fundamentals do not change! Good presentation skills transcend the delivery method. Join us for a one-hour webinar as we revisit some of the basics and explore how they can be applied to conventional or virtual presentations.

• Understanding the differences and similarities between in-person and virtual presentations
• Delivering a powerful presentation, whether you are an introvert or extrovert
• Keeping your audience engaged and getting them to interact
• How to make your message memorable
• Using visuals to help you, not hurt you

Presenters

Kim and Mike Barnes have each spent 30 years on the air! Now they coach clients for on-camera impact in video and media interviews and public speaking. Kim was an award-winning reporter and news anchor for 15 years, including more than a decade at KVUE in Austin. Kim also taught television news reporting at The University of Texas (her alma mater).  Mike was an award-winning sportscaster at KVUE for over 29 years He was named Best Sportscaster in Austin 17 years and Best in Texas four times.  This dynamic duo knows how to make a great impression on camera or in front of a room.
