The mission of the Texas Association of State Systems for Computing and Communications (TASSCC) is:
Partnering to advance education and networking among professionals supporting Information Technology for the Texas Public Sector and higher education.
TASSCC typically hosts 3 conferences per year with DIR serving as an educational sponsor.
- State of the State (SOS) - December, Austin, 1 day
- Technology Education Conference (TEC) - Spring, Austin, 1 day
- TASSCC Annual Conference - late summer, Sun-Wed, rotates among major Texas cities
TASSCC also hosts community service events and offers Training Grants available to IT professionals from Texas state agencies and institutions of higher education.
