Texas Department of Information Resources Executive Director and State of Texas Chief Information Security Officer, Amanda Crawford, has been named one of Government Technology's class of 2023 Doers, Dreamers, and Drivers.

Every year, Government Technology names the Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers who represent a diverse group of IT and other professionals and who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the often unglamorous work of making sure the systems that run government nationwide are accessible, reliable and fit for the 21st century.

"I'm incredibly honored to be included with such a talented and diverse group of IT professionals. This is a recognition of the amazing team here at DIR and across state government who are collectively dreaming big, driving transformative change, and doing all the things to make a more effective and efficient government. This is also a reflection of the industry partners who believe in our mission and work alongside us as we leverage technology to transform how Texas government serves Texans." Crawford said. She highlights the value of collaboration and the DIR culture as keys to success.
