Determine TEX-AN Eligibility 

Designed to cater to diverse entities within the Texas public sector, TEX-AN extends its services to state agencies, political subdivisions, and assistance organizations. These entities include public schools, libraries, and hospitals, as well as city and county governments. While resellers are not eligible for these contracts, TEX-AN Next Generation (NG) contracts are E-RATE certified, ensuring compliance and accessibility for all eligible entities.

Step 1 – Fill out the TEX-AN New Customer Information Form (New TEX-AN Customers Only) 

  • Fill out the TEX-AN New Customer Information Form to establish your account and embark on your TEX-AN journey.  
  • If you are an existing TEX-AN customer, skip right to Step 2.  

Step 2 – File a Form for Desired Service (All TEX-AN Customers) 

For both new and existing TEX-AN customers, select from a range of forms tailored to your service needs. From long-distance connections to internet upgrades, DIR has you covered. 

For specialized state agency projects including DIR Internet upgrades, Capitol Complex fiber, L2VPN (Level 2 Virtual Private Network), and more, use the DIR Service Order Form to initiate tailored solutions.
