Nick Villalpando named DIR Interim Executive Director

At the November 1, 2018 board meeting, the Board of Directors decided to create an Executive Director search committee and is going to post the open position as soon as possible.

In the interim, the board names Nick Villalpando, DIR's current Chief Financial Officer, as the Interim Executive Director. Mr. Villalpando has been with the agency since 2010 and is responsible for leading DIR's finance, budget, accounting and human resources functions. The Board has confidence that Mr. Villalpando and the DIR executive team will continue the progress that Ms. Napier made during her tenure at DIR.

The board plans to keep the agency aware of any new information as the search committee conducts their business.
