Small Office/Home Office (SOHO)
Some TEX-AN vendors offer budget-friendly internet service for Small Office/Home Office (SOHO). These services are designed for locations with 25 workstations or less. Bandwidth, cost and installation fees vary based on the vendor.

Orders are placed by your organization directly with the TEX-AN vendor

Customers are responsible for complying with their entities’ security policies/procedures to ensure the protection of sensitive data for each SOHO site.

Purchase orders are written to the TEX-AN vendor to order the service.

The TEX-AN vendor will invoice you directly for SOHO services

TEX-AN SOHO service can be added to your consolidated DIR Telecommunications Service invoice, but a fee applies to each SOHO location.
If you are a State Agency and want to use SOHO for a remote office:
State agencies are to use DIR's Telecom Services to the fullest extent possible, including Internet for the main office and any office that has over 25 workstations.

A state agency may use the SOHO packages offered through TEX-AN vendors if the office has 25 workstations or less.

Agencies are responsible for complying with their entities’ security policies/procedures to ensure the protection of sensitive data and each SOHO site.

Agencies must receive a waiver from DIR Telecom to use SOHO for any office with more than 25 workstations
