A complimentary educational workshop presented by Catapult Systems.  Sponsored by DIR as part of the Technology Today Series (TTS).

Many agencies have attended overview sessions or conferences on Agile to get a basic understanding of the key principals, terms, daily “ceremonies”, differentiations from Waterfall and the distinct advantages Agile provides. This session will take it to the next level – giving you actionable knowledge and strategies to begin implementing Agile as a project management methodology for your application development or maintenance projects. Additionally, you will learn about some of the software and tools that support Agile to be more functional and scalable. Topics to be covered include:

  • Agile Deep Dive – building on a firm foundation
  • What is Different and Why – comparing to traditional waterfall or iterative projects
  • Tools and Software for Implementing Agile – learn about what you need to support your journey to Agile
  • DevOps – what is it and how does it support Agile project management
  • Next Steps and Agile Implementation Strategies

DIR will email confirmed registrants a parking pass before the event. If displayed on the dash when entering the complex, you do not need to stop at the guard gate. Commons parking is available in the lots on the north and west sides of the building. Overflow parking is in the two lots on the east side of the building. Vehicles not displaying permits may be ticketed
