Information For

Information Resources Managers (IRMs)

Information Resources Managers support the professionals who protect state technology. Information technology is valuable. At state agencies, it’s especially valuable because it’s paid for by the people of Texas. That’s why, by law, every state agency must designate an Information Resources Manager—i.e., the person responsible for overseeing IT, IT reporting, and technology compliance. (TGC 2054)
