Overview
The Texas Open Data Portal (ODP), part of DIR's Shared Technology Services, is the official State of Texas repository for publicly accessible data sets. The ODP is available to State agencies and other eligible DIR customers to post public data for sharing with citizens / public, vendors, academic personnel, researchers, journalists, and agencies here in Texas as well as both nationally and internationally. It also features tools to search, filter, map, and visualize official State agency data sets.
The ODP provides a secure, cloud infrastructure that DIR customers can use to share open data through a centralized portal for the constituents to which they serve thus creating greater government transparency.
