The TASSCC Board has carefully considered options for the 2020 Technology Education Conference (TEC) scheduled March 27 and will postpone the event.
This decision was a difficult one as we know how important the event is in continuing to foster community, build relationships and provide education to state IT leaders and their teams. However, public health leaders have offered guidance for large events and we take seriously our responsibility to you in the concerted public health response to this regional, national and global threat. We are continuing to assess how best to deliver the quality education to our membership. We will follow up within the next three weeks regarding how we plan to proceed, including further communication regarding the handling of registration and sponsorship fees.
