The Texas Department of Information Resources Office of the Chief Information Security Officer is pleased to announce the 24th annual Information Security Forum.
This year's ISF will be held March 29-30, 2023 (Wednesday-Thursday) at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas. A two-day event featuring multiple educational tracks and breakout sessions, the ISF is open to all levels of Texas government and is a free event for attendees.
The Call for Presentations closed on 12/06/2022.
Presentation Proposal Submissions
The theme of this year’s forum is: Gaining the Edge
We are currently seeking to fill our break-out sessions with unique, practical, and educational content that focuses on real-life applications attendees can utilize in their organization.
Suggested topics include:
- The Human Component
- Threat Intelligence and Threat Sharing
- Incident Response and Handling
- Information Security Innovation

Each break-out session will be just under an hour in length. The audience will include security and IT employees of state agency, higher education, and local government employees.
Please include the following in your submission:
- Topic Title (maximum of 20 words)
- Session Abstract/Description (maximum 200 words)
- Three (3) session objectives (what will attendees learn?)
